The editor currently uses the Steve model (4-pixel wide arms). Alex model (3-pixel slim arms) support is on the roadmap. Steve skins work on all Minecraft editions.

Click the "โŸบ Mirror ON" button in the toolbar or press M on your keyboard. While active, any pixels you paint on one arm or leg are automatically mirrored to the opposite side.
Can I use this on mobile (phone or tablet)?+
Yes. MC Skin Editor runs in any modern browser including Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android. Use pinch-to-zoom on the 3D preview and tap to paint on the canvas.
Will I lose my work if I close the tab?+
No. The editor autosaves your skin to browser storage every 30 seconds. When you reopen the page, it will ask if you want to restore your last session.
What file format does it export?+
The editor exports a standard 64ร—64 PNG file โ€” the exact format Minecraft requires. You can upload it directly to your Minecraft.net profile (Java) or import it in Bedrock settings.
How do I apply my skin in Minecraft?+
Java Edition: go to minecraft.net โ†’ Profile โ†’ Change Skin and upload the PNG. Bedrock Edition: go to Settings โ†’ Profile โ†’ Edit Character โ†’ Classic Skins โ†’ Import.
What is the Copy-Paste Parts feature?+
Right-click on any body part in the 3D preview to open a context menu. You can copy the texture from one part (e.g. right arm) and paste it to another (e.g. left arm), saving time on symmetric designs.
