Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

We're not in the business of collecting data on people. Here's what actually gets collected when you use MC Skin Editor.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you personally when you use the skin editor itself. The editor runs entirely in your browser. Your skin stays on your device until you choose to download it.

Standard server logs โ€” when you visit the site, our server logs your IP address, browser type, and which pages you requested. This is standard for any web server. We keep these logs for up to 30 days for debugging purposes, then they're deleted.

Analytics โ€” we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages get traffic and where visitors come from. No personal identifiers are tracked. No cookies are set by our analytics.

If you upload a skin to the public gallery, we store the image file and any title or tags you provided. These are public and visible to other visitors.

Cookies

We use a single cookie to remember that you accepted this cookie notice. No tracking cookies. If you're logged into the admin panel, a session cookie keeps you logged in โ€” that's it.

Third-party ads (Google AdSense) may set their own cookies. You can opt out of personalized ads through Google's ad settings.

Third parties

We don't sell, trade, or rent your data to anyone. We use Google AdSense for ads โ€” Google has their own privacy policy that governs how they handle data from ad impressions.

Your rights

If you uploaded a skin and want it removed, email us at admin@mcskineditor.net with the skin URL and we'll remove it. If you want us to delete any server logs associated with your IP, we can do that too โ€” just ask.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed. We won't change it to suddenly start selling data or doing invasive tracking.
